About Us
STEEL RIVER QUAY
Since commencing full operation in 2024, Steel River Quay has rapidly established itself as a vital logistics hub for the UK’s renewable energy ambitions.
Our facility is strategically positioned immediately upriver from Teesport, providing world-class infrastructure to support the next generation of large installation vessels and heavy components.
Our Strategic Advantage
Steel River Quay is located within the Teesside Freeport and is backed by the expansive Teesworks industrial zone. Sitting alongside major offshore wind operations, including SeAH Wind’s state-of-the-art monopile manufacturing facility, this unparalleled co-location allows components to move directly from production to quayside, minimising transport needs, simplifying logistics and significantly reducing project timelines and costs.
